the assignment

The Assignment was started with the idea of getting people shooting and, therefore, getting them inspired and learning about photography.

Every two weeks a photography assignment is handed out or voted on. The images must be shot between the time the assignment is given and its deadline. You can use an iphone, a point and shoot or the mac daddy of cameras, it doesn't matter. You also have the freedom to retouch as much as you want or turn in an assignment straight from the camera.

The assignments are also open to critiques. Let us know what you love about them or what you think could be done a little differently in order to better tell the story. Please remember that the critiques must be productive and helpful!
