Elizabeth Boyette : Self-portrait

Shot with a Panasonic Lumix 10 mp. w/ a Leica lens. Did a little bit of color balance in photoshop. The smoothness is a result of a shaky hand.

  1. five stars for hotness! my wife doesn’t creep like i do, she just lays around on the floor most days. i love the contrast in tones/patterns between the rug and shirt, and the light coming from the top left corner. the blurred look is cool because it gives it an offset look and makes it pretty interesting to look at!

  2. Great shot! the patterns on the rug combined with the softer warmer tones give it a 50s’ sort of feel. has an up-to-date audrey quality. good thing you have a shaky hand cause i don’t think it would have worked as well if it were sharper.

  3. ditto on the competing patterns. it sort of forces your eye to rest on you (the main attraction) : )
and i couldn’t tell your laying down until i read chris’s post. i thought you had rad wallpaper as appose to a rad carpet. nicely done.

  4. very vintage in color tone, softness and pattern on the wall/floor? composition is great too. the lighting really works for me as well, looks very natural. you’ve definitely captured…well, you.

  5. There’s a certain dreamy kind of feel to it, and it looks like maybe you really could be asleep and dreaming. The blurriness works well here, and the color is good.

  6. plaid + paisley = awesome.
this could be an album cover.
