This is the mile high swing bridge at Grandfather mountain in Linville, NC. Thurston and I celebrated the 4th in and around Boone, our old stomping grounds. Being in the “high country” i had a lot of photos to choose from for this assignment, but after careful consideration, this is the winner.

Followed closely by this one (if foreground wasn’t blurry): http://www.flickr.com/photos/bliss_24/3692424461/in/set-72157621020173122/

and then this one (but not looking down enough): http://www.flickr.com/photos/bliss_24/3692405401/in/set-72157621020173122/

and then this one (what can i say, mountains are more impressive): http://www.flickr.com/photos/bliss_24/3693107042/in/set-72157621020173122/

image is raw. straight from the camera.
